Vacation sketches : holograph, 1862.

Manuscript account of a vacation tript made in the summer of 1862 by G. Livingston and his companions W. L. Alden, J. H. Pullman, and J. Elihu Dwight. They started from Yonkers, traveling in a 16 ft. skiff up the Hudson River to Brant Lake, Essex County, New York, where they camped and fished for two weeks. Manuscript account is followed by a clipped and mounted newspaper article recounting the expedition written by W. L. Alden. Text is accompanied by illustrations exceuted in pen and ink and signed with the initials "H.E.F."
